According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, unemployment rates for formerly incarcerated individuals can reach up to 60 percent in some communities, even for those with minor offenses. For employers, this situation presents both a challenge and an opportunity.

Experts from the Goodwill “Flip the Script” program, a respected reentry initiative serving justice-involved people throughout Southeast Michigan, will share their strategies, success stories and firsthand knowledge on supporting justice-involved job seekers and helping employers become part of the solution
