As an associate in Butzel Long's Troy office, Javon David represents a wide variety of clients, ranging from commercial litigation, media and entertainment and products liability.
She serves on the Business Court Counsel Committee for the Oakland County Bar Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel Association.
She also defends media clients as the Deputy General Counsel for the Michigan Press Association, providing pre-publication review and advice on Open Meetings and Freedom of Information Act issues.
David also serves on the Board of Governors for the Young Leaders Council, Original Equipment Suppliers Association – Motor &Equipment Manufacturers Association (OESA-MEMA).
She received a bachelor's degree from University of Michigan-Dearborn and a law degree from University of Detroit Mercy.
David is an advisor to the Shlama Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists Iraqi refugees in assimilating to life in Oakland County, as well as aiding individuals abroad. She is a volunteer at Holy Name Catholic School and Academy of the Sacred Heart and lives in Birmingham.
