Historically renovated Glen Oaks Banquet Center retains the charm of another era while providing a tranquil view of the golf course's rolling terrain.

The banquet center overlooks Glen Oaks Golf Course, a picturesque 18-hole, par 70 course with par 3 holes crossing streams with rolling terrain. It is conveniently located on 13 Mile Road in Farmington Hills, just north of I-696 between Orchard Lake and Middlebelt roads.

The historic 1920s English-style clubhouse provides an elegant setting for weddings, parties and golf outings. The formal garden is ideal for outdoor ceremonies. The dining room, which can host up to 400 people, features floor to ceiling windows that provide incredible views of the pristinely maintained golf course. A large wrap around deck with tables and chairs are available for guests to enjoy. The event center has a built-in bar and dance floor, buffet room and hospitality room.

For 2025 reservations, food service is provided by Oak Management.

Customers renting space in 2026 are welcome to 'DIY' the space or bring in vendors of their choice. The banquet center will not provide food or beverages, so customers must provide their own or hire an outside vendor.

Current Rates for 2026 Rentals

Weekend (Friday-Sunday)

  • Banquet Center - $5,000 for entire weekend Friday-Sunday during the following hours:
    • Friday (noon-9 p.m.)
    • Saturday (9 a.m.-midnight)
    • Sunday (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)
  • Banquet Center - $2,750 per day from 9 a.m.-midnight

Weekday (Monday-Thursday)

  • Banquet Center - $1,750 per day (9 a.m.-midnight)
  • Buffet Room Only - $500 per day ( 9 a.m.-9 p.m.)
  • Formal Garden - $500 per day ( 9 a.m.-9 p.m.)

Additional Rate Information

  • $1,000 security deposit (in addition to the rental fee) for the Banquet Center - will be returned within 30 days
  • $200 security deposit (in addition to the rental fee) for the banquet room - will be returned within 30 days
  • Signed Facility Use Agreement, rental fee and security deposit are due at time of rental - no holds. Credit card, cash or check only made payable to Oakland County Parks
  • Oakland County Parks is not responsible for loss of any belongings
  • Space is rented as is. All services must be arranged by the renter
  • Rental fee includes:
    • Coat Room
    • Ice Machine
    • Warming Kitchen
    • Refrigeration
    • Bridal Suite
    • Furnishings:
      • Up to 150 banquet chairs
      • 21 72-inch round banquet tables
      • 23 8-foot long banquet tables

Room Accessibility

  • The facility is available beginning at 9 a.m. on the reserved date unless otherwise approved by Oakland County Parks staff
  • Rentals are available for six (6) hours during the times listed above. Start time must be specified with Oakland County Parks staff
  • For three-day rental events:
    • Friday - The facility is available between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Start and end times must be specified with Oakland County Parks staff
    • Saturday - The facility is available for up to eight (8) hours. Start and end times must be specified with Oakland County Parks staff
    • Sunday - The facility is available for tear down of the event for a four (4) hour window between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Events held on Friday and Saturday must end by 11 p.m. with the building and park vacated, including all possessions, by midnight
  • Events held Sunday through Thursday must end by 9 p.m. with the building and park vacated, including all possessions, by 10 p.m.

Capacity

Glen Oaks Banquet Center has capacity for up to 400 guests in the Event Room, 40 in the Meeting Room and 72 in the Club Room.

Food

  • For 2025 reservations, food service is provided by Oak Management.

  • Customers renting space in 2026 may provide their own or hire an outside vendor as the event center will not provide any food or beverage 

  • All food must be prepared offsite. Use of the facilities for cooking or washing equipment is not permitted

  • Use of chafing fuel to warm food is permitted

Parking

Glen Oaks Banquet Center has parking for more than 200 vehicles with six accessible parking spaces immediately adjacent to the facility.

Insurance Requirements

Insurance(s) will need to be provided for the following:

  • If the reservation/event is for a wedding
  • If there is expected to be more than 250 people in attendance at the event/facility
  • If the reservation is booked by an organized entity/group and not an individual
  • If there will be alcohol consumed at the event
  • If there will be alcohol sold at the event (subject to approval by the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission)

  • Non-residue tape
  • Rope and twine
  • Zip ties

Items that are not allowed

  • Candles or open flames of any kind
  • Helium balloons
  • Nails or tacks
  • Glue guns
  • Confetti/glitter/rice/silly string
  • Streamers
  • Space heaters
  • Portable AC units
  • Sparklers/fireworks/paper lanterns
  • Duct, packaging, masking or Scotch tape
  • Fog machines (dry ice)

Alcohol and Smoking

  • Liquor Liability Insurance is required for any event where alcohol is consumed
  • All state laws and state regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages and food must be followed
  • Underage drinking will not be tolerated and will result in the event being terminated immediately
  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any Oakland County Parks facilities
