The Lyon Oaks Event Center overlooks Lyon Oaks Golf Course, an Arthur Hills-designed, 18-hole championship course located on 230 acres. It is conveniently located in the southwest corner of Oakland County in Lyon Township just north of I-96.

Guests enter the event center through a warm and inviting lobby with a fireplace. The dining room, which has room for between 250-400 people, features floor to ceiling windows that provide incredible views of the pristinely maintained golf course. A large walk-out with tables and chairs are available for your guests to enjoy. The event center has a built-in bar and dance floor, buffet room and hospitality room.

Customers are welcome to 'DIY' the space or bring in vendors of their choice. The event center does not provide food or beverages so customers must provide their own or hire an outside vendor.

2025 Rates

Weekend (Friday-Sunday)

• Event Center - $5,000 for entire weekend Friday-Sunday during the following hours:
  • Friday (noon-9 p.m.)
  • Saturday (9 a.m.-midnight)
  • Sunday (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)

• Event Center - $2,750 per day from 9 a.m.-midnight

Weekday (Monday-Thursday)

• Event Center - $1,750 per day (9 a.m.-midnight)

• Buffet Room Only - $500 per day (9 a.m.-9 p.m.)

Additional Rate Information

• $1,000 security deposit (in addition to the rental fee) - will be returned within 30 days

• Both rental fee and security deposit are due at time of rental - no holds. Credit card, cash or check only made payable to Oakland County Parks

• Everyone and all belongings must be off-site by midnight. Music and alcohol service must end by 11 p.m.

• Buffet Room rentals must end by 9 p.m.

• Rental fee includes:
  • Buffet area, bar area and hospitality room
  • Access to site on the day of the event from 9 a.m.-midnight
  • Furnishings:
    • Up to 150 banquet chairs
    • 21 72-inch round banquet tables
    • 23 8-foot long banquet tables
    • Space is rented as is. All services must be arranged by the renter

Capacity

Lyon Oaks Event Center has capacity for strolling events up to 400 and seated events up to approximately 250.

Food

• The event center does not provide food or beverages so customers must provide their own or hire an outside vendor
• Use of the facilities for cooking or washing equipment is not permitted

Parking

Lyon Oaks Event Center has parking for more than 200 vehicles with accessible parking spaces immediately adjacent to the facility.

Insurance Requirements

• Insurance(s) will need to be provided for the following:

• If the reservation/event is for a wedding

• If there is expected to be more than 250 people in attendance at the event/facility

• If the reservation is booked by an organized entity/group and not an individual

• If there will be alcohol provided (not sold) at the event

• If there will be alcohol sold at the event (subject to approval by the Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission)
